The first team that shows up in the rankings with a defeat is Findlay, at No. 12, with Davenport, NGU, Mars Hill, and Emporia State the only undefeated teams that feature behind the Oilers.
Mars Hill and Emporia State both enter the rankings, as does Michigan Tech. The Huskies have a date with GVSU this week. Note that five G-MAC teams show up in the rankings this week, with three in the received votes section. That will almost certainly not be the case next week, as Hillsdale hosts Walsh, and Northwood heads to Tiffin.
