One of the greatest rivalries in football, the Anchor-Bone Classic 2025 is back on screens everywhere this week as Ferris State and Grand Valley State meet in an annual dual.

In 2025, the undefeated Ferris State Bulldogs will have to weather the visiting Grand Valley State (4-2) in a GLIAC regular season game with the home field advantage.

Grand Valley State holds the historical lead with a 14-12 series edge, although Ferris State has been seizing the momentum in the past decade with a majority of the wins—including last year's 34-7 walloping at Lubbers Stadium in front of the Lakers' most faithful fans.
