Week 7 LSC Predictions
Like all NCAA D2 football games, it is mostly a toss-up until the clock runs out, but here are some predictions for how these four LSC matchups will shape up in Week 7.
Angelo State is in need of a win and with homecoming on Saturday, the stadium will be rocking. Midwestern has struggled offensively as of late. The Rams should walk away victorious with a much needed win.
West Texas A&M has the best medicine up its sleeve and that is home field advantage. With the Buffs at home for at least one more week, the energy in Canyon is unmatched. Even with an Eastern New Mexico team who has shown some moments of hope, the Buffs should walk away with a win.
The Javelinas and the Wildcats will be a game that relies heavily on momentum and honestly on third-down conversion. With both teams coming in with huge wins for their respective programs, it could be anyone's game. However, the trip to Washington is LONG for the Javelinas, so the Wildcats should walk away with a victory, even if it is close until the end.
The Battle For the Golden Tumbleweed is always a toss up. The Lobos picked up their first LSC win ever in this contest last year when it was hosted in Alpine, Texas. However, with the contest being held in Silver City, it could be a home field advantage for the Mustangs and a relatively consistent Conner Ackerly. The Mustangs will walk away with the Golden Tumbleweed this year.
With four games on the docket for the LSC on Saturday, Oct. 18, make sure you are tuned in to FloCollege to catch all of the action.
