The final regular season week of the NCAA football season is here with action ready to kick off on Nov. 15. As teams across all three divisions, its a huge weekend for the D2 and D3 programs.

It took two overtimes against a resilient team constantly on the verge of a breakthrough season, but Ferris State was able to lock up a second consecutive Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title last week with a 51-45 victory over Saginaw Valley State.

The D2 football postseason selection process has been different from the FCS and D3 for many years, using the Super Region system without an automatic bid given to conference champions.
