Stony Brook vs. Towson Football Highlights | 2026 CAA Football5:56

After a week with only 5 CAA games, Week 7 brings a rivalry game and 7 other can't-miss games.

The chaos is headlined by the UAlbany vs Stony Brook game known as the Battle for the Golden Apple. Both New York schools have been playing each other since 2007 and will be the most notable game of the weekend. Other notable matchups include Monmouth vs. UNH and Bryant vs. Maine.

Battle for the Golden Apple: Stony Brook vs. UAlbany - 2:30 PM ET (Live on Flo)

In their 16th meeting, UAlbany Football will head to Stony Brook to show who is the boss of New York. Over their previous 15 games, Stony Brook has won 8, with UAlbany winning the remaining 7. The way UAlbany has been playing this season, it might be the year to tie the series up, but they will first need to get past Stony Brook's top-notch defense.

UAlbany took last week off, meaning they will be heading into this game fresh and prepared to bring their A game.

Stony Brook is coming off a close game against Towson, where they took the win 31-24. From a 90-yard touchdown to a flip into the end zone, Stony Brook is showing why they're at the top of the conference. The Seawolves stand tied for second with a 2-0 record behind Monmouth's 3-0. UAlbany stands close behind with a 1-1 record after a win against UNH and a loss against Monmouth.

There is a lot at stake with this cup game: CAA standings, New York dominance, and a deep history.

Hampton vs. Sacred Heart - 12 PM ET (Live on Flo)

Hampton Football heads into Week 7 after a bye week, looking to get their first conference win of the season. They currently bring up the rear of the 2026 standings with a 2-0 record after a loss to Campbell and Bryant.

In their first season in the CAA, Sacred Heart has played the most conference games, holding a steady 2-2 record. However, they come off a tough loss against Stonehill College in Week 6. After 28 unanswered points, Stonehill allowed only 7 points from Sacred Heart.

Hampton has not won a game since Week 1 and will need a conference win to move up from the bottom of the CAA standings.

North Carolina A&T vs. Chicago State - 12:00 PM ET (Live on Flo)

North Carolina A&T has been surprising everyone this season as they hold their own in the CAA. In Week 6, they won against UNH in overtime, securing their win with a final field goal.

With a 1-5 record, Chicago State looks for a second win in their season while N.C. A&T plays only its second non-conference game. With its final game before heading into four weeks of CAA play, they are looking to perfect their craft.

UNH vs. Monmouth - 1:00 PM ET (Live on Flo)

This is a battle of the top of the conference vs. the bottom of the conference. Monmouth Football is currently 3-0 in conference play while UNH is 1-3. Before this season, New Hampshire Football has won every matchup against Monmouth. But this year might prove different.

Monmouth's offensive line is #1 in the FCS for earning the fewest amount of sacks allowed, with 2 the whole season. They have also moved up to 20/23 in the FCS rankings.

After a win against Elon, UNH has the ability to win against good teams, but will they succeed against CAA's leader?

Bryant vs. Maine - 1:00 PM ET (Live on Flo)

Bryant Football has made its way to the top of the CAA with a 2-0 conference record. They went on a three-game winning streak, which was broken against Brown in Week 6.

Bryant has only won 1 out of eight games in their series, but their reign starts now.

Junior QB Brennan Myer has earned 1,075 passing yards on the season with a high of 308 against Bryant. Maine's Caden Drezek has started in 2 games this season, already racking up 201 passing yards.

Towson vs. Campbell - 3:30 PM ET (Live on Flo)

Off a bye week, Campbell Football is ready to continue its dominating streak. With a perfect conference record and a near-perfect 5-1 overall record, Campbell is not going to let Towson stand in the way of its winning streak.

Previously #5 in the FCS for passing yards, Campbell's Kamden Sixkiller has 1,675 passing yards on the season. JJ Cowan also ranks #3 in the CAA in rushing yards per game with 74.50.

However, Towson Football's Andrew Indorf ranks #2 in the CAA in passing yards per game behind Sixkiller. He stands at 257 yards per game to Sixkiller's 279.17. Indorf also leads the CAA in passing efficiency with 163.14.

Now it's a battle of QB vs. QB.

Rhode Island vs. Yale - 12:00 PM ET

Yale is to host Rhode Island this weekend. This marks Rhode Island's second week in a row playing an Ivy League team and hoping for their second win in a row.

Rhode Island broke a two-week losing streak, breaking their streak with a win against Brown.

Rhode Island tested out a new QB, Alex McClelland, who went 6 for 11, throwing for 83 yards. McClelland might be the key to the Rams' success for the rest of the season.

Elon vs. Stanford - 7:30 PM ET

Heading across the country, Elon will play Stanford in a highly anticipated game.

Stanford's offense has been slacking the past two weeks, scoring a total of 10 points over two games. Elon has also been coming off two weeks of losses and a shutout by Wofford.

Both teams head into strictly conference play after this CAA vs. ACC matchup. In Elon's biggest game yet, they will use every minute of the game to show why they belong at the top of the CAA.
