This week is special because not only is every game streamed Live on FloCollege, but I will be on the ground covering the Bentley vs. Assumption game. So not only will you get to see a great rivalry game, but also make sure to follow FloCollege on Instagram for exclusive content.
Bentley vs. Assumption - 12:00 PM ET
In 2025, this game decided the winner of the NE10, with Bentley coming out on top for the fifth title in history. However, it might be Assumption's year to take the crown.
In week 4, Bentley took a loss to NE10 school Franklin Pierce. And they did not sit in the bottom half of the NE10. Assumption, on the other hand, is 1-0 after beating AIC last week.
If either team wants to get into the FloCollege rankings, their journey starts now.
Brown vs. Rhode Island - 12:00 PM ET
Rhode Island has been on a bit of a downhill trajectory over the past two weeks after losing to CAA schools Stony Brook and North Carolina A&T. Now you might be asking yourself: Ava, if they're playing an Ivy League school and are not playing their best football, why are you watching? My answer: I have faith in the Rams.
At this point in the season, with their quarterback being injured and their star running back, Marquis Buchanan, getting injured in last week's game, they are the underdog. And I always root for the underdog.
They have two more weeks until more CAA play, and their winning starts now. Mark my words.
Let's get some NEWMAC play on our TVs.
Merchant Marine is at the top of the NEWMAC with a 1-0 record, and MIT is 0-1. But the statistics do not show how well MIT played last week against Springfield, who swept the conference in 2025.
Their game was tied with less than two minutes left of the final quarter, and with a blocked field goal, Springfield took it to the end zone to win 13-19. The Engineers were up more than 75% of the game and gave the Pride a run for their money.
USMMA is undefeated this year and has had a really strong offense, but MIT is built different this season and could take the place of the 2025 runner-up.
Sacred Heart vs. Maine - 4:30 PM ET
It took four weeks, but in Sacred Heart's first year in the CAA, they earned their first win against a conference team. Now, they have another conference matchup.
Looking at the stats, both Maine and SHU have lost to Elon this season, but Sacred Heart almost won that game, whereas the Black Bears took a larger loss. Elon only won against SHU with a last-minute field goal.
Each game, they are perfecting their craft and might be on a tear for the rest of the season. Maine stands at a 1-1 conference record, and Sacred Heart holds at 1-2. This might be the game of the week for the CAA, with a lot riding on the game for both teams.
