North Carolina A&T vs. Rhode Island Football Highlights | 2026 CAA Football8:42

We gave you four weeks to subscribe to FloCollege to watch CAA. Now it's October, and you're just missing out if you haven't. It's been obvious that the CAA will keep you guessing in college football.

This week we've got four CAA matchups, and games with 4 teams that received votes in the most recent AFCA FCS Coaches Poll.

The Nor'Easter is gone, and Saturday, October 3rd, is looking sunny with a side of CAA.

Rhode Island vs. Brown - 12:00 PM ET

After a loss against North Carolina A&T in Week 4, Rhode Island is looking to pick their season back up against Ivy League's Brown. Brown started their season 1-1 with a win against New Haven and a loss against #21/25 Harvard. 

This matchup gives URI a taste of the Ivy League ahead of next week's game against the reigning champs, Yale.

With QB Devin Farrell still out for the season, the Rams will need to have a stellar defense in order to earn a win.

2026 Brown vs Rhode Island

Elon vs. New Hampshire - 1:00 PM ET

Elon is one of the top performers in the CAA this season, going 2-1 in conference play after beating Sacred Heart and Maine. They take on UNH in Week 5, looking to stretch ahead in the CAA.

UNH has been off to a rocky start this season, earning a 1-4 record and is 0-2 in CAA play. They face a tough stretch as they fight back to the top, starting with Elon on Saturday. They have home-field advantage and will need every opportunity they have to put themselves ahead of Elon on the scoreboard.

Towson vs. Monmouth - 1:00 PM ET

This matchup serves as both teams' second CAA game. Towson has yet to win a game this season, sporting a 0-5 record, with one loss being to fellow CAA member Maine.

Monmouth is finding its groove this season, joining Elon at the top of the CAA with a 2-0 conference record. Monmouth hosts Towson for Week 5 in their homecoming game. If this Jersey girl knows something about Jersey schools, Monmouth is going to show up and out for their homecoming game, bringing the energy to help the Hawks to their third win. Even if they only have stands on one side of the field.

Sacred Heart vs. Maine - 3:30 PM ET

After Week 4, Sacred Heart deserves its flowers. After a tough schedule in their first year in the CAA, SHU was winless before playing UNH. They played their best football yet and took their first win of the 2026 season and their first win in the CAA with a 20-13 win over UNH. After UNH had received votes in the FCS preseason poll, Sacred Heart heads into Week 5 with confidence. 

As for Maine, they are looking for another win in their 2026 season record. They have not won a game since Week 0 against Towson. At this point in the season, teams are taking every advantage of games to move themselves up in the CAA rankings. 

Both have CAA records of 1-0, but only one team will move up and join the top.

Delaware State vs. UAlbany - 3:30 PM ET

The CAA fears Delaware State. The Hornets have taken on two CAA teams so far in the season and have won against both. First it was 41-34 against Stony Brook, and then it was 33-28 against Towson in Week 4. Now comes the Great Danes of Albany. 

Albany started with a bang, but it's clear they are still working out the kinks. After a major loss to Princeton 22-0 in Week 4, they head back home for their Homecoming game. With Donny Jones and Rahshan La Mons at the top of their game, they're sure to give the Hornets a run for their money.

North Carolina A&T vs. Bryant - 6:00 PM ET

If you missed NCAT's Week 4 game against Rhode Island, first: do you even like football? Second: why are you not subscribed and following FloCollege?

A CAA preseason #12 NCAT took down CAA's preseason #1 Rhode Island. At this point, I think anything is possible. That was their first win of the entire season. If Tyrek Brown's scoop and score in the third quarter wasn't proof enough that they're hungry, I don't know what is. They sit in the middle of the CAA with a 1-1 record.

Bryant, on the other hand, has been having a season for the books. Another team that was projected in the bottom of the CAA is 1-0 for the season. After a bye week, they are well rested and ready to take on a similar opponent at home.

Not On Flo, But Good To Know

Hampton vs. Howard - 3:00 PM ET

In a 118-year rivalry, Hampton and Howard will battle to be crowned the Real HU. This HBCU rivalry means a lot for the Virginia schools, going back to 1908, in a rivalry that has been recognized by Presidents and Vice Presidents.

Hampton has won the matchup 58 times over the years but lost in 2025 to Howard, 7-34. Both teams share an equal losing record this season with Hampton at 1-4 and Howard at 1-3.

This rivalry goes beyond conferences or the FCS, but the story of the game will be passed down for generations. However, only one team will share stories of a win in 2026.

Campbell vs. North Carolina Central - 6:00 PM ET

Campbell, Campbell, Campbell. They hold the best record in the CAA so far with a 2-0 conference record and a 4-1 overall record. With Kamden Sixkiller at their helm, they might be virtually unstoppable. He sits at #3 in the FCS with 1449 passing yards, only 40 yards away from #1. His name is just a testament to the monster QB he is.

After climbing in the FCS poll to the 18th spot, the sky is the limit. They were previously at 22, and will keep climbing as the season goes on.

North Carolina Central should not prove to be a problem for the Camels, but they won against North Carolina A&T, who just beat Rhode Island. And anything is possible in the FCS.
