The reigning Northeast 10 football champions are set to take on the reigning NCAA D2 football champions on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 6 p.m. ET. Bentley will take on Ferris State in at Top Taggart Field in Big Rapids, Mich. for their first-ever matchup

Your First Chance To Watch The Reigning NE10 Champs In Action

In his first year as Bentley head coach, CJ Scarpa ’17 delivered the first conference title to his alma mater since 2019. The former quarterback led the team to a 7-3 regular season record, going 6-1 in NE10 play.

Sophomore quarterback Luke Warnock returns under center this year after being named the conference Rookie of the Year in 2025. During the final eight games of the season, he totaled 22 touchdowns and threw just four interceptions.

Watch Ferris State Make History… Again

The Bulldogs quite literally make history every game they play. After a massive 42-14 win at (then) No. 4-ranked Pittsburg State in Week 0, Ferris State extended their consecutive win streak to 31 games. The win streak is the longest active in NCAA D2, the longest in school history and the second-longest in NCAA D2 history, trailing Grand Valley State’s 40-game win streak from the early 2000s.

It’s The First Bulldogs vs Falcons Matchup In History

For the first time in program history, the Bentley Falcons will square off against the Ferris State Bulldogs. It also marks the fourth time that Ferris State has faced a team currently in the NE10.

FSU faced New Haven (Conn.) in the 1995 NCAA D2 National Quarterfinals, recording a 17-9 win on Bulldog turf. The Bulldogs also beat American International 56-0 in 2023 in Big Rapids ahead of an 84-7 road victory against the Yellowjackets in 2024.
