The NCAA Division III football season begins in August, and there are already storylines and matchups that we can’t wait to see develop.

Where Are The Division 3 Playoffs Taking Place?

The first round of the Division 3 playoffs, through the semifinals, are played in a non-determined venue decided by the seeding of the playoffs. The Stagg Bowl is played at Salem Football Stadium in Salem, Virginia.

Where Is The 2026 Stagg Bowl Taking Place?

The 2026 Division 3 National Championship game is being played at Salem Football Stadium in Salem, Virginia. 

In 2025, the game was hosted in Canton, Ohio at the Tom Benson Hall Of Fame Stadium. That is also where the game will be held in 2027.

Eight different cities have hosted the Stagg Bowl.

Who Won Each Football National Championship For The 2025-2026 Season?

  • Division I FBS – Indiana def. Miami, 27-21
  • Division I FCS – Montana State def. Illinois State 35-34 (OT)
  • Division II – Ferris State def. Harding, 42-21
  • Division III – University of Wisconsin-River Falls def. North Central (Ill.), 24-14
