UT Permian Basin’s Kanon Gibson powered a Top-10 win over Angelo State, throwing for 289 yards and adding three rushing scores. Tre Robinson lit up the air for UNC Pembroke with 354 yards and six touchdown passes, while Ferris State freshman Wyatt Bower accounted for six total scores in a breakout performance.

On the ground, Virginia Union’s Curtis Allen bulldozed Winston-Salem State for 249 yards and four touchdowns, while Kutztown’s Steven Burkhardt needed just 12 carries to rack up 146 yards and two scores.

Defenses and special teams had their moments, too. CSU Pueblo’s Jackson Smith drilled a 60-yard field goal, and Gannon freshman Damario Moore electrified with an 89-yard kickoff return touchdown. Harding’s Clark Griffin led a ferocious front with 3.5 tackles for loss as the Bisons stayed unbeaten.
