After a week off, No. 1 Ferris State returned to the field and dominated Roosevelt with a 66-0 victory in Arlington Heights to open GLIAC conference play.
Quarterback Wyatt Bower led the charge, throwing for 371 yards and five touchdowns in just two quarters while adding a rushing score. His top target, Cam Underwood, needed only three catches to score three first-quarter touchdowns, racking up 141 yards as the Bulldogs raced to a 42-0 halftime lead.
Ferris State’s defense was relentless, forcing four interceptions and shutting down every Roosevelt drive, including a key end-zone pick by Alex Springs in the third quarter.
The Bulldogs’ ground game took over late, highlighted by Deion Small’s 80-yard run, LeeShaun Mumfield’s 25-yard score, and a final touchdown by Jake Price.
