Week 3 of Lone Star Conference football brought a Saturday night clash in San Angelo, Texas as No. 4 Angelo State welcomed Western New Mexico for a 7 p.m. ET kickoff at LeGrand Stadium.

The Mustangs struck first with a 27-yard touchdown from Connor Ackerley to Davey Morales, but Angelo State answered quickly, tying the game and taking the lead with big plays from Kaeden Smith and Jayden Jones.
