The Campbell Camels were once again unable to hang on to an early lead, giving up a late touchdown to Furman and failing to score late to lose 28-24.

With the loss, Campbell falls to 0-3 on the season and in their season opener against CAA opponent Rhode Island, went into halftime with the lead, but was held scoreless in the second half. While they went into the break with the lead again today, they were able to keep the offense running in the second half, but stalled in the fourth quarter.

Furman moves to 2-1, avenging their overtime loss from last week with the close win today, closing out the game with an epic defensive stop.
