Another week of college football, means another free stream on FloCollege. This week’s free stream features the No.8-ranked Rams of Angelo State hosting the Hornets of Emporia State.

On the visiting side, the Hornets came away victorious after opening their home schedule by hosting Minot State on Aug. 28. Emporia State claimed a commanding 27-7 victory over the Beavers. The Hornets ended the night with 339 total yards, with 292 of them coming through the air. 

Starting quarterback, Ben Harris, went 37 for 52 on pass completion with two touchdowns. Malik O’Atis ended the night as the lead receiver for Emporia State with 12 catches, 90 yards and a touchdown. 

Based on the ranking by FloCollege, the No.8-ranked Rams of Angelo State will open their home schedule on Sept. 6. After traveling in Week 0 to Hays, Kan. to face off against the Tigers of Fort Hays State on Aug. 28, Angelo State would take the victory,  28-7. 

The Rams ended the night with 366 total yards in the contest over the Tigers. Veteran quarterback Braeden Fuller, in his second season at the helm, went 12-19 on pass completion with 177 yards through the air and three touchdown passes. With the win over the Tigers, Rams head coach Jeff Girsch picked up his 50th win.
