Can Rugby Star Tyrese Johnson-Fisher Make Impact At UA All-American Game?

European rugby phenom Tyrese Johnson-Fisher will compete in the Under Armour All-American game at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL, on Thursday.

The English star holds a 100-meter time of 10.73 seconds and is already being considered for professional rugby contracts in the U.K. He's also a YouTube sensation, with highlight videos that have received millions of views.

That Johnson-Fisher's introductory course to American football will come against a crop of the best players in the country has many skeptical about how successful he will be, but the rugby standout doesn't lack for confidence.

“I think that the things I have will transfer quite nicely,” Johnson-Fisher said on Saturday. “I understand everyone here has been doing this for years and I’ve only been doing it for months, but I think the skills are similar.”
