Quincy Patterson Talks Inspiration, Engineering & Justin Fuente

Virginia Tech's engineering program may have won the school a few football games before all is said and done.

Solorio Academy (IL) quarterback Quincy Patterson signed with the Hokies due, in large part, to his aspirations of becoming a mechanical engineer — and, while the school's football facilities were cool and all, it was the engineering facilities that won head coach Justin Fuente an elite quarterback prospect.

We caught up with Patterson recently and asked him about his recruitment, his inspiration, and his future head coach.
