Mike Bloomgren Talks Rice, Stanford & Intellectual Brutality

Stanford offensive coordinator Mike Bloomgren was introduced as the head coach of the Rice Owls on Wednesday afternoon at the Patterson Center in Houston.

Bloomgren, who played an instrumental role in the implementation and subsequent success of Stanford's most recent duo of prolific rushers, Christian McCaffrey and Bryce Love, would appear to be a perfect fit for the Rice program.
