GSC Boasts Second Most Players On NFL Rosters

This season, the GSC will boast the second most players – tied with the GLIAC – of any Division II football conference with nine guys making NFL rosters.

On Thursday night, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys kicked off another NFL season and welcomed a full capacity of fans back.

And while those rosters of 53 took the field on Thursday and take the field this weekend, there’s going to be a good number of players who once competed in the Gulf South Conference. This season, the GSC will boast the second most players – tied with the GLIAC – of any Division II football conference with nine guys making NFL rosters.
