Thanks A Lot, Gameday: Pullman Declares State Of Emergency

Look, credit where it’s due, ESPN’s College Gameday is the shit.

Rece Davis is an awesome host, Kirk Herbstreit is way more tolerable on television than he is on Twitter, Maria Taylor rocks, and the whole spectacle of it all is unmatched.

Coffeeing our way to mimosas with Gameday on the television is a fall tradition unlike any other.

That said, I’ve always felt like it was one of those things that’s much better when viewed from the comfort of my living room, as opposed to braving the masses and the elements just to stare at the back of Lee Corso’s mascot head.

And, now, once and for all, the city of Pullman, Wash., has confirmed these sentiments.

Pullman has declared a freaking state of emergency. This is not a joke. They’re bracing for Saturday like it’s a natural disaster.

This is Gameday’s first trip to Wazzu and it’s going to be an absolute, well, zoo. And, quite frankly, I’m looking forward to it because I won’t be there. I’ll be on my couch. With my dog. Eating breakfast tacos.

But, hey, you guys have fun with that up there.
