Watch: LIVE on FloFootball
Winners in eight of its past 11 games, Eastern Washington has outscored its past three opponents by an average of 36 points per game since losing on the road at Washington State on Sept. 15.
Last week, the Eagles hammered Southern Utah 55-17, thanks, in large part, to 331 total yards of offense and three scores from quarterback Eric Barriere.
Weber State rolled into the season with three consecutive wins, but the Wildcats blew an 18-7 third quarter lead in a road loss at Northern Arizona last week.
The Lumberjacks held Josh Davis to a season-low 52 rushing yards and outscored Weber State 21-6 down the stretch.
Barriere Filling In Quite Nicely
Losing All-American quarterback Gabe Gubrud to a lower leg injury against Montana State was obviously cause for concern, but junior Eric Barriere has been outstanding in relief.

Barriere is 2-0 as the starter for the Eagles—and he’s done it through the air and on the ground. In EWU’s victory over the defending conference champs last week, Barriere set a school record for quarterbacks with an 85-yard touchdown run.
He finished with 98 yards rushing and 233 yards passing.
Gubrud Is On The Cusp Of The 10,000-Yard Club
Gubrud’s availability remains in question as we head into Saturday’s game, but, should he play, the senior signal caller will need just 16 yards passing to join the 10,000-yard club.

It will be his second membership to a 10,000-yard club. Gubrud went over the 10,000-total yard mark in a win against Northern Arizona last month.
Gubrud owns 21 school records, eight Big Sky records and three NCAA FCS records.
Homecoming In Ogden
Weber State will be hosting Eastern Washington for homecoming in Ogden.
The game will be the Eagles’ first at Stewart Stadium since 2012. Weber State holds an 8-7 all-time advantage at home against Eastern Washington, but EWU has won three straight.
