Texas A&M Assistant Tim Brewer Has Had A Rough Week On Twitter
Jalen Ramsey handed Tim Brewer another Twitter "L" in response to a graphic Brewer put out with Ramsey's picture on it.
One week to the day after new Texas A&M assistant coach Tim Brewer got drug all over Twitter for talking mess on the Big 12, he took another “L” — this time from former Florida State cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
In case you missed it, Brewer tweeted this last week:
To say that the Big 12 is even on the same planet w the #SEC is straight crazy. The elite players in Texas totally understand. #SEC‼️

Which, you know, probably wouldn’t have gone over super great even if Texas and Oklahoma hadn’t just given the league the same number of top 10 recruiting classes (two) as the SEC (Georgia and Alabama — neither of which is to be confused with Texas A&M).
Of course, as it happens, the Longhorns and Sooners ranked third and ninth, respectively, on National Signing Day. And, well, five of the top six players in Texas signed with the University of Texas. So Brewer was, at best, spouting baseless propaganda, and, at worst, engaging in the now decade-old tradition of piggybacking ‘Bama — which, by the way, was not lost on Longhorns quarterback Sam Ehlinger.
But then, rarely seen teamwork between Oklahoma and Texas was put on full display when OU assistant coach Cale Gundy reminded Brewer that the ACC is the best conference in football, per, um, himself. At least, until he proclaimed the SEC the “greatest stage,” which is really just a confusing combination of assessments.

Making matters even more spectacular for the casual observer, Cale’s brother, Mike, also weighed in with some emojis because of course he did.

Which brings us to Monday night (!!!) when Brewer tweeted out the following graphic, essentially implying that Jimbo Fisher, a man who has quite literally never even coached on the defensive side of the ball, is somehow responsible for the success of Florida State’s defensive backs.

Because there is a football god and he loves us very much, Jalen Ramsey — the obvious headliner of the list — noticed and was spectacularly quick to call bullshit.
He didn’t teach me not one DB technique... #ComeGetSomeRealTruth #GoNoles https://t.co/xb78Pery78

Know I have nothing but respect for you Coach Brew but don’t use me on a poster for a school I didn’t go to & for a coach who didn’t teach me how to be a DB.

Might just want to put the phone down for a bit, Coach. Give the thumbs a little rest. #Facts
