Olaijah Griffin is a five-star cornerback — the No. 28 overall player in the country, per 247Sports — who starred at Mission Viejo (CA) High School.

He is also the son of rapper Warren G.

Unsurprisingly, Griffin announced that he would sign with Southern Cal on Wednesday. And, unsurprisingly, the production quality was high.

While most prospects were delivering their decisions in gymnasiums, Olaijah G was in a studio, in a high chair reminiscent of the one from which LeBron James once delivered “The Decision,” with his dad, Snoop Dogg, and some confetti rounding out the scene.

Once the announcement was official, Griffin posted a hype video to Twitter that, quite frankly, is pretty awesome.

Tennessee and Alabama were said to have been in play for Griffin during the late stages of the recruiting process, but the Griffin-USC union is among the most perfect matches in this class. Here’s hoping No. 2 stars in La La Land.
