Bush Is A Bulldog, Jean-Baptiste To Ohio State
Tommy Bush stuns Texas — and the rest of college football — and adds to Georgia's unbelievable 2018 class.
Oradell (NJ) Bergen Catholic linebacker Javontae Jean-Baptiste signed with Ohio State on Wednesday, rounding out an outstanding class for the Buckeyes.
The Garden State’s Defensive Player of the Year became Ohio State’s 19th four-star signee (per 247Sports) which will lead all signing classes in 2018.
At 6-foot-5, 204 pounds, Jean-Baptiste still has room to grow and develop, which is a frightening thought for folks who had to try and block him during the fall. Jean-Baptiste flashes 4.7-second speed in the 40-yard dash and a 37-inch vertical leap and will excel as a pass rusher in Columbus.
Mid-morning, after Georgia flipped Quay Walker, we all made a fuss about what an incredible class the Dawgs had completed.
Welp.
Schertz Clemens (Texas) wide receiver Tommy Bush spurned Texas to somehow add to the embarrassment in riches in what is now, all but unequivocally, the top-rated signing class of all time.
More on that later.
