Freestyle Friday: The Seminole Rap
Freestyle Friday: The Seminole Rap
The 1988 Florida State Seminole recorded a rap video called "The Seminole Rap."
Technically, this isn't a freestyle, per se. But it is the greatest football-related rap video we've ever seen.
The top-ranked Florida State Seminoles recorded this work of art prior to the start of the 1988 season — and then lost to Miami 31-0 in the season opener, which may explain why we're coming up on a 30 years since the 'Noles last rapped for us.
The video features the likes of Deion Sanders and the man who was recently named Florida State's interim head coach, linebacker Odell Haggins. In fact, the pair appear back-to-back from 2:13-2:48.
It's pretty clear that Coach Haggins chose the correct career path.
You're welcome.
