Western Kentucky quarterback Mike White threw for 208 yards and ran for two touchdowns to lead the Hilltoppers to a 15-14 victory over UTEP on Saturday in El Paso, Texas.

With interim head coach Mike Price at the helm, the Miners jumped out to a 14-8 lead at the half. However, the UTEP offense couldn't recover from three missed field goals by kicker Brady Viles, including a pair in the second half. The Tops (3-2, 1-1 C-USA) responded with a 13-play, 80-yard drive in the third quarter, capped by a 1-yard touchdown run by White to put Western Kentucky back on top for good against the winless Miners (0-6, 0-2).

Western Kentucky head coach Mike Sanford improves to 3-2 as a head coach, while White is now 14-5 as the WKU starter. Western hosts Charlotte next weekend. Watch the action live on FloFootball.
