After back-to-back C-USA championships, it was probably time for Western Kentucky to make the jump to a major apparel provider -- all due respect to the OG Russell Athletic, of course. My junior high jersey was fire.

Putting the Hilltoppers -- the highest scoring offense in the country a season ago -- in a sleek, streamlined Nike uniform just makes too much sense.

What didn't totally make sense, though? DJ Khaled presented the team with its new look.

DJ Khaled didn't go to Western Kentucky, believe it or not. But he is a high profile Nike partner.

Here's the nice new look in all its glory:

And for no reason whatsoever, here's DJ Khaled singing along to Rihanna with the lyrical precision of my mother.
