While You Were Tailgating: 5 Things You Have To See From The Weekend
The best things we saw during the past weekend of football.
It may be known as "Week Zero" in the college football lexicon, but there is no shortage of highlight-reel moments to rewind from this past weekend.
Here's a look at our five favorites from the high school and college ranks:

A senior football player with Down syndrome at Vestavia Hills High School in Alabama scored a touchdown during a game against Briarwood Christian on Friday. The reaction of his teammates is worth all the feels.
After coming up empty on its first few possessions, Henderson (NV) Liberty moved from a shotgun spread to the stack I-formation, forcing Scottsdale (AZ) Saguaro to crowd the box in an effort to stop a suddenly run-heavy attack. The move worked to perfection, setting up play action, and creating some space over the top for quarterback Kenyon Oblad. The flood gates eventually opened through the air and an off-balance Saguaro defense never recovered in a 51-20 loss.
Virginia Beach (VA) Bishop Sullivan lost 14-7 to Plantation (FL) American Heritage on Saturday night, but it was no fault of a defense led by cornerback Tayvion "Tank" Land and linebacker Teradja Mitchell. Land was all over the field for the Crusaders, disrupting the American Heritage passing game and delivering blows -- the best of which happened on this first-down play midway through the second quarter.
An early contender for Best Interviewee of the Year, American Heritage defensive tackle Nesta Silvera was a nightmare for Bishop Sullivan on Saturday. After the game, he explained his not-so-subtle strategy for intimidation.
Remember that guy who was like, "Blah, blah, Christian McCaffrey... Blah, blah, Stanford may start slow" last week? Neither do we. Bryce Love was unbelievable during Stanford's 62-7 win over Rice on Saturday in Sydney, Australia, rushing for 180 yards on just 13 carries -- including this 62-yard run on the first play of the season.
