Hawaii's Hype Video Is A Perfect Way To Start The First Week Of The Season
We're close enough to smell the food from the tailgate. Football season officially begins in just five days. We can't make the time to kickoff go by any faster, but we can ensure that the next few minutes are awesome, thanks to this Hawaii hype video.
We're close enough to smell the food from the tailgate. Football season officially begins in just five days.
Of course, much like Christmas, spring break, and the last day of school, the days seem to also grow longer as kickoff creeps nearer. We can't do much about that, but we can ensure that the next few minutes are awesome, thanks to this Hawaii hype video.
Hawaii closed out 2016 with more momentum than the program has seen in some time, chasing a three-game losing streak with back-to-back wins to wrap up the regular season -- thus, vaulting the Rainbow Warriors into their first bowl game since 2010. Their 52-35 bowl victory over Middle Tennessee snapped a run of five consecutive losing seasons in Honolulu. A year later, the expectation for head coach Nick Rolovich's bunch is a winning record or bust.
Hawaii counters what was, at times last season, a suspect defense with a steady, established quarterback in Dru Brown along with game-breaking running back Diocemy Saint Juste. Top receiver Marcus Kemp is gone, but the Rainbow Warriors are full of talented reinforcements at slot back and wide receiver.
Hawaii will make the nearly 12-hour flight to Amherst, Massachusetts, to help kick-start the college football season against UMass on Saturday.
