How UAlbany Wins: Make Campbell Play On Its Terms
The Great Danes’ best route is to sustain drives with La Mons and Koch, finish those possessions with touchdowns and make Campbell work for every opportunity.
Defensively, Lewis and Young need to disrupt Sixkiller without leaving easy throws behind them. Pressure matters most if UAlbany also tackles well underneath.
Force Campbell into uncomfortable downs, avoid giving its receivers room to run and keep this within reach late. That’s a recipe for a nervous Halloween on the visitors’ sideline.
3:55 PM
How Campbell Wins: Keep Sixkiller Out Of The Horror Movie
Campbell’s protection has to keep UAlbany’s pass rush from becoming the main character.
Quick throws and varied targets can help Sixkiller keep the offense moving without holding the ball for trouble to arrive.
On defense, the Camels need to contain La Mons and Koch early, creating longer passing downs. An early lead would also put pressure on UAlbany to chase points rather than settle into its running game.

What’s At Stake? November Could Get Scary
A loss here could haunt more than Halloween.
Campbell can move to 8-1 overall and 5-0 in the CAA, strengthening its push for a first playoff appearance. With Stony Brook, Elon and conference leader Monmouth still ahead, protecting that unbeaten conference record matters.
UAlbany can reach 6-3 and pull both teams level at 4-1 in CAA play. A loss leaves the Great Danes 5-4, meaning even a perfect November would produce an 8-4 finish and an anxious wait on Selection Sunday.
Monmouth hosts Bryant and Stony Brook hosts Sacred Heart. The CAA’s top six teams all face one another today.
