The Lakers are one of the shining stars of D2 football, and whether you love them or hate them, it's good for the sport when they do well. However, they have not. And they fell out of the Top 25 legitimately this week.
But it's the next man up, and that next man is Davenport, who has a date with Ferris State this week after going 8-0 so far this season. The Panthers land at No. 8 this week.
Elsewhere, East Stroudsburg makes the jump from No. 23 to No. 19, and West Liberty, Virginia State, and Ouachita Baptist all enter at the bottom of the Top 25.
