North Central Football remains atop the FloCollege D3 Football Rankings after a ranked road win, while Mary Hardin-Baylor makes the week’s biggest jump and Springfield breaks into the Top 25.
North Central kept its grip on No. 1, but the Cardinals had to earn it on the road. Trailing Wartburg 14-7 at halftime, North Central scored 17 unanswered points and leaned on its defense to secure a 26-20 victory. The Cardinals held the Knights to 231 total yards, forced two second-half turnovers and controlled possession for more than 38 minutes.

UW La Crosse (D3) vs Wayne State (MI) (D2)
There might be a D3 over D2 upset on the horizon.
UW La Crosse travels to play Wayne State with a serious point to prove. A preseason top 11 team in the country is off to a winless start after losing to two top 15 squads by one score.
Wayne State on the other hand … they’re just looking to score their first points of the season.
D3 schools beating D2 schools is a rare thing, but this Saturday, college football fans might just see it happen.
