As the Ivy League is welcomed into the 2026 season, fans can get a first peak to their season as Harvard and Princeton are to play UNH and Bryant on FloCollege.
There are hundreds of games this weekend, but here are my picks of the most important games to watch on the East Coast.
Harvard vs. UNH - 1:00 PM ET
It took them three weeks, but the Ivy League is finally joining college football. And Ivy League audiences get a treat with two of their games being streamed on FloCollege.
Young, fearless leaders are leading both teams. Sean Goldrich leads UNH at only 33-years old, but is no stranger to the Ivy League after coaching at Yale. The Crimson are led by 43-year-old Andrew Audrich. While facing veterans throughout the season, Coach Goldrich is now facing someone who coaches with the same perspective.
Their last matchup was in 2024, when Harvard won their 8th game against UNH. Their history goes back to 1929, with UNH never winning a single one of their games.
UNH is currently 1-2 this season, and I am ready for them to turn it around before conference play gets on its way next week.
Princeton vs. Bryant - 1:00 PM ET
The second Ivy x CAA matchup of the weekend sits between Princeton and Bryant.
In 2025, both teams finished third-to-last in their respective conferences, but Bryant seems ready to change the narrative for themselves. Bryant started its season with a 2-1 record.
The two teams have only met once throughout the years, with Bryant winning 16-14 back in 2023.
Rhode Island vs. Stony Brook - 2:30 PM ET
Rhode Island and Stony Brook are among the top games of the weekend. This game will mark Stony Brook's first conference game of the 2026 season, and they'll need a win to start their play on the positive side.
Rhode Island is trying to start a winning conference streak after its win against Elon. With Rhode Island's starting quarterback out for what appears to be the rest of the season, Stony Brook will need to take every advantage they can in order to earn a spot in the top 5 of the conference.
Monmouth vs. UAlbany - 3:30 PM ET
This game will mark the team's second conference game of the season and, for one, will bring their record to its first conference loss.
In an unexpected turn of events, UAlbany has been on a tear this season. They hold a 2-1 overall record and started their season with a conference win against New Hampshire.
Monmouth has still been working through its kinks this season with a tough schedule. However, their win against Sacred Heart has earned them a positive start to conference play.
Head Coaches Jeff Gallo and Tom Perkovich will go head-to-head in their second conference game of the season.
No. 8 UW-Platteville vs. No. 21 Springfield - 3:00 PM ET
We have a ranked game in the East. Both UW-Platteville are undefeated this season, but that means one of those records needs to fall.
The Pioneers and the Pride have proven to have tough offenses and defenses. UW-Platteville has only allowed 7 points over their first two games, while Springfield allowed 28. They both shut out their respective opponents in week 2 play.
Whoever wins, we know a record will fall, and the rankings are sure to be shaken up.
