Week 3 CAA Matchups

Multiple CAA matchups this week are fighting to build a positive conference record early in the season. There are four conference games this weekend, and you can watch them all LIVE on FloCollege.

Rhode Island vs. Stony Brook - 2:30 pm ET

Rhode Island has been working through its quirks so far this season. They've taken their first FBS loss to Temple and their first conference win against Elon. After three weeks of play, they take on another fierce CAA competitor: Stony Brook.

Stony Brook currently stands with a 1-2 record after taking their own loss to an FCS-ranked Delaware State and an FBS school, Ball State. Their win holds against Lindenwood. While their record stands at a losing rate, their offense has shown major promise, putting up 87 points over their three games.

The Rams are trying to end their CAA conference losing streak, while Stony Brook is looking to turn the tables to improve on their record.

Monmouth vs. UAlbany - 3:30 pm ET

Monmouth started their season with a loss against the ranked FCS school, Tennessee Tech. Jeff Gallo started his first conference game as head coach against Sacred Heart University. After SHU put up a good fight, the Hawks earned their first conference win. This week, they play their second conference game against UAlbany.

Under new head coach Perkovich, UAlbany will play another hard conference matchup after previously winning over CAA preseason #4 UNH in Week 0. Their overall record stands at 2-1 after winning against LIU 35-13 in Week 2.

Both the Hawks and Great Danes are looking to continue their winning conference streak, but only one can take home the win.

North Carolina A&T vs. Campbell - 6:00 pm ET

All Campbell has done this season is play ranked teams, so it's time for a conference game. In Week 0, they played and won against (RV) ETSU, and in Week 1, they played and won against Western Carolina. In Week 2, they took a major jump to play Florida. They ended up taking a major loss, scoring only a field goal with a final score of 3-52. But iron sharpens iron, and they're ready to play some CAA teams.

Campbell holds a secret weapon having Kamden Sixkiller as QB, being ranked #8 in the FCS in passing yards.

They keep the game close to home, playing a fellow North Carolina team, NC A&T.

North Carolina A&T has had a rough start to the season, earning a 0-3 record going into Week 3. The Aggies are looking to add a winning game to their record against Campbell.

Sacred Heart vs. Elon - 6:00 pm ET

Sacred Heart may have a 0-2 record, but it does not show the real power they have. In their first-ever conference game, they played Monmouth, giving them a run for their money. Monmouth ended up with the win, but only by a single touchdown.

They then went on to play UMass, who, after not winning a single game since 2024, are 2-0 in 2026.

Elon will also provide another challenge for the Pioneers. Their only loss of the season was to #8 Rhode Island. After both teams failed to play football in until the final 10 minutes of the game, the Rams came up with the win, scoring 4 touchdowns in the 4th quarter.

If both teams play up to their potential, this game is going to be one not to miss.

Ivy League Live on FloCollege

The Ivy League has a late start to the 2026 season, but will be treated to their first games against two CAA teams.

Princeton vs. Bryant - 1:00 pm ET

An Ivy vs. CAA game is always one you cannot miss, but this game will be an almost perfect matchup of teams. The two have only played each other once, with their last game being in 2023. Bryant won the game 16-13.

Their 2025 records are almost identical. Bryant had an overall record of 3-9, while Princeton had an overall record of 3-9. They both finished third-to-last in their respective conferences.

This game will mark Bryant's 2026 season home opener.

Harvard vs. UNH - 1:00 pm ET

Both Harvard and UNH are prominent teams in their respective conferences, each earning a spot in the FCS tournament in 2025.

Under new coach Sean Goldrich, UNH is looking to change their record to 2-2 after losing their first 2 games of the season.

They played each other once back in 2024 in a nail-biting game, with Harvard winning 28-23.

Live on FloCollege

Morgan State vs. Towson - 6:00 pm ET

Towson is looking to put a win in their schedule after a 0-3 record so far in 2023.

Their past two games have been against FBS teams, Navy and South Carolina. While taking losses, their offence has still been able to find the end zone, earning 42 points over 3 games.

The Tigers are pulling for a strong defense against Morgan State to secure their win.

CAA Plays ACC & MEAC

Maine vs. Boston College - 2:00 pm ET

Maine will head to Boston to play Boston College in hopes of breaking their losing streak. After a Week 0 win against Towson, the Black Bears have taken losses against Appalachian State and Merrimack.

Boston College holds a 1-1 record after a loss against Cincinnati and a win against Rutgers.

Hampton vs. Norfolk State - 4:00 pm ET

Both Hampton and Norfolk State hold a 1-2 record, but they are very familiar with each other. In the past two years, Hampton has won the matchup, but they are even in wins and losses with 8 wins each.

They each have a home and away record of 4-4. An almost perfect matchup will be a game not to miss.
