Ferris State Keeps The Streak Alive

Ferris State keeps their winning streak going by defeating Bentley in their home-opener at Top Taggart Field. The streak is up to 32 games, with their last loss coming in 2024.

The Bulldogs slowly but surely built up a large lead against the Falcons, adding points in every quarter, while only allowing three.

Late Bentley Interception

Marcel Jones' pass bounces off the hands of Tyler Lane, which is then scooped out of the air by a Bentley defender. 

The Falcons will take over on offense with less than two minutes left. 

Ferris State Goal-line Stand

Bentley were in great position to add a touchdown, but this elite Ferris State defense held them on fourth down. 

Only about four minutes left in this game as the Bulldogs offense takes over. 

Housey Scores, Ferris State Up Big

After dropping what would've been a touchdown on the previous drive, Jeremiah Housey rushes 19 yards for the touchdown, deflecting contact along the way.

Ferris State has not looked particularly dominant, but they have slowly but surely put together a commanding lead, due in no small part to their stout defense allowing only three points so far. 

Ferris State Adds Three Points

Jay Cady makes the field goal from 34 yards out as the Bulldogs continue to add to their lead. 

Jeremiah Housey nearly had a touchdown on the previous play, but was unable to hold onto the ball after a big hit by Bentley's Caleb Procaccini. 

Bulldogs Force Fumble, Recover

Bentley quarterback Luke Warnock fumbles after Tim Allen knocks the ball free. Recovered by Tyrone Fowler. Ferris State takes over at Bentley's 47-yard line. 

Bulldogs Air It Out For TD

Wyatt Bower connects with Zak Ahern, who is uncovered on the left sideline and runs for the 57-yard touchdown. 

Nearly halfway through the third quarter and the Bulldogs keep rolling.

Second Half Begins

Bentley receives the kickoff from Ferris State and we are back underway at Top Taggart Field.

The Bulldogs head to the locker room with an 18-point lead after scoring three touchdowns in the first half. Wyatt Bower threw an early interception, but he leads Ferris State in passing yards and rushing yards, with 97 and 56 yards respectively.

Wyatt Bower hands off to Zak Ahern, who rushes into the endzone untouched. Ferris State up 18 points with about three minutes to go until halftime. 

Bentley On The Board

The Falcons worked their way down the field but were unable to get in the endzone. They settle for a field goal. 

Ferris State Adds Seven More

LeeShaun Mumpfield takes a toss to the right and rushes 18 yards for the touchdown. 

Ferris State up 14 points early. Bentley has had a few good drives, but has been unable to capitalize.

Wyatt Bower and the Bulldogs were rolling down the field before Santi Quiceno intercepted a pass. Bentley will take over at their own eight yard line.
