High school football takes center stage on FloCollege on Friday, Sept. 4, with six interstate matchups featuring 12 teams ranked in the latest High School Football America 300. The slate includes four national Top 20 programs, 10 teams inside the Top 100 and plenty of opportunities for movement in next week’s rankings. See the complete HSFA 300 rankings.

No. 2 Buford headlines the action when the Georgia powerhouse travels to Charlotte to face No. 145 Mallard Creek. The Wolves enter the weekend on a 16-game winning streak, while undefeated Mallard Creek gets a major opportunity to test itself against one of the top-ranked teams in the country.

No. 6 Baylor is another national championship contender hitting the road. The Red Raiders climbed three spots in the HSFA 300 after improving to 2-0 and will visit No. 98 Rabun Gap-Nacoochee in an all-Southern matchup.

Two more Top 20 teams meet nationally ranked opponents on Friday. No. 12 St. Frances Academy faces undefeated No. 97 Vero Beach in a Maryland-versus-Florida showdown, while No. 18 Don Bosco Prep takes on No. 42 Roman Catholic. With both teams positioned inside the national Top 50, Don Bosco-Roman Catholic is one of the night’s most evenly matched games on paper.

The closest matchup in the rankings sends No. 60 Gainesville against No. 39 East St. Louis. The Flyers are one of Illinois’ premier programs, while Gainesville will look to rebound from an early loss by scoring a statement win over a higher-ranked opponent.

The schedule also includes a meeting between two familiar national names as No. 91 Bergen Catholic faces No. 165 Good Counsel. Bergen Catholic enters looking for its first win of the season, but the Crusaders remain firmly inside the HSFA Top 100.

From Georgia and Tennessee to Maryland, New Jersey and Illinois, Friday’s schedule brings together programs from across the country for one loaded night of high school football on FloCollege.
