Football Games This Week On FloCollege: Aug 27 - Aug 29, 2026

College football returns to FloCollege this week with a packed slate of games spanning Division II, HBCU football, junior college and high school matchups. From Thursday’s opening kickoff through a packed college football Saturday, fans can catch 24 games featuring nationally ranked programs, conference contenders and several intriguing cross-region showdowns.

The action begins Thursday, Aug. 27, with seven games on the schedule. Among the highlights is No. 12 Western Colorado facing West Texas A&M. Both ranked teams will look to start the season with a statement performance. Thursday also features Maine vs. Towson, McKendree vs. Saginaw Valley State, Emory & Henry vs. Valdosta State, Glenville State vs. Elon, Fort Hays State vs. Angelo State and Tiffin vs. Carson-Newman.

Friday brings another seven games, including a strong collection of high school matchups. St. Frances Academy takes on DeLand, while Florida’s Armwood meets New Jersey powerhouse Don Bosco Prep. La Salle College High School faces Paramus Catholic, and Carol City battles Lee County. On the college side, New Hampshire meets UAlbany in an early-season matchup with plenty of stakes, while No. 10 Virginia Union takes on Lenoir-Rhyne add another Division II spotlight game to the schedule.

Saturday is the busiest day of the week, featuring 10 games. Bergen Catholic and Central Catholic headline the high school slate, while Division II action includes Gannon vs. Davenport, Missouri Southern State vs. Midwestern State and Morgan State vs. North Carolina A&T. Virginia University-Lynchburg also faces Hampton, while Monroe-New Rochelle takes on American International and Mt. San Jacinto meets Golden West College.

With Ferris State, Harding, Kutztown and Pittsburg State leading the preseason D2 rankings, every early-season result matters as teams begin building their cases for the postseason. The rankings also put a spotlight on several teams playing this week, including Northwest Missouri State, Virginia Union, Western Colorado and Emory & Henry.
