As teams are still holding on to the hope of making a national championship game, the quarterfinals of the bracket are upon us. 

As the CAA only has one contender left in these NCAA playoffs, Villanova will take on Tarleton State in the quarterfinal showdown. 

Both teams enter into the contest after impressive season and impressive wins in the playoffs thus far. Villanova barley escaped Lehigh in just a one score game, walking away with a 14-7 victory. 

Tarleton State will head into the contest after a dominating win over North Dakota in the second-round. The Texans walked away with a 31-13 victory. 

The quarterfinals of the NCAA D1 FCS football bracket are set to take place on Dec. 13. With kickoff for this lone CAA team slated for 11:00 AM CT/ 12:00 PM ET, here is all of the information!
