North Dakota State football continues their iron grip on the top spot once again this week in the latest FCS college football rankings from the AFCA Coaches Poll and Stats Perform Top 25.

In fact, everyone stayed where they were in the top seven spots this week.

At No. 1, the Bison added a third ranked win in a row, handing No. 9 Southern Illinois their second loss with ease and extending their overall lead over opponents to a whopping 267-63 this season—one of just three FCS teams to have outscored opponents by more than 200 total points.

Gaining the most ranks this week were Abilene Christian and Lamar, although the two polls disagreed on how much they should be bumped up. They each jumped at least 3 spots across both rankings.

After making the headline last week due to their 6-spot improvement, Austin Peay dropped nine spots in the Coaches Poll after losing to Eastern Kentucky on the road, 34-20.

In the Stats Perform poll, Idaho took a 13-spot drop—they find themselves 2-4 after finishing last season No. 7 in the nation with a 10-4 record. The Vandals were bumped out of the AFCA Coaches Poll entirely.
