FCS College Football Scores In Week 7 Of 2025 Season: Here's Who Won
North Dakota State, South Dakota State and the Montana powers stayed unbeaten in Week 7 as Tarleton State, UC Davis and Lehigh also rolled in FCS play.

Top-ranked North Dakota State continued its unbeaten start Saturday, cruising past No. 9 Southern Illinois 45-17 to remain No. 1 in the FloCollege FCS Top 25. The Bison (6-0) extended their winning streak with another dominant defensive effort.
No. 2 South Dakota State matched them step-for-step, overpowering UNI 31-3 at home behind a balanced rushing attack. In the Big Sky, both Montana powers stayed perfect: No. 4 Montana defeated Cal Poly 28-9, while No. 5 Montana State rolled Idaho State 48-14 in Bozeman.

Elsewhere, several Top 25 matchups tightened the standings. No. 3 Tarleton State stayed undefeated at 6-0 with a 41-23 win over Utah Tech, and No. 6 UC Davis looked sharp in a 45-24 victory over No. 16 Northern Arizona. No. 7 Tennessee Tech remained unbeaten at 5-0 after handling Charleston Southern 27-13, and No. 8 Lehigh improved to 6-0, routing Columbia 31-7.
There were stumbles for others: No. 10 Illinois State outlasted Murray State 46-32, but No. 13 Idaho fell to Northern Colorado 49-33. No. 17 Villanova edged Elon 29-21, while No. 14 Jackson State survived Alabama State 38-34.
Presbyterian (No. 23), Monmouth (No. 11) and Lamar (No. 24) also earned statement wins as the FCS playoff race tightened heading into mid-October.
