No.19 Villanova Capitalizes On Strong Offense To Defeat New Hampshire
CAA action was in full swing on Oct. 4. No.19-ranked Villanova walked away with a victory over New Hampshire! Relive all of the action below!

As the dust settles in Wildcat Stadium in Durham, N.H, the No.19-ranked Villanova Wildcats walked away with another CAA win over the New Hampshire Wildcats.

In the 'Clash of the Wildcats,' both teams got off to a hot start, each scoring in the first quarter. Action was tied at 7-7 for the remainder of the first quarter and would remain tied until Villanova would score in the first drive of the second quarter. After Villanova scored in the second quarter, the Wildcats offensive momentum was unable to be stopped.
Despite New Hampshire's best efforts, they were unable to score after its first score in the opening quarter.
New Hampshire ended the day with 41 yards of offense. Quarterback Matt Vezza was 13-for-23 on pass completion with 207 yards. Vezza was also the leading rusher for the Wildcats with 48 yards on ten carries with one rushing touchdown.
Villanova ended the day with 461 yards of offense. Quarterback Pat McQuaide was 16-for-25 with 219 yards. Luke Colella was the leading receiver for the Wildcats with 139 yards on nine receptions. David Avit was the leading rusher for the Wildcats with 102 yards on 14 carries with one rushing touchdown. Ja'briel Mace also was a top rusher for Villanova with 34 yards on three attempts with three touchdowns.
Villanova moves to 3-2 on the season and 2-0 in CAA play. New Hampshire moves to 3-3 on the season and 1-1 in CAA play.
