With Week 1 of the Division III season officially completed, teams head into Week 2 eager to keep taking the field. Several teams saw major wins in Week 1, white others came up just short.

Susquehanna lived up to expectations after claiming a victory over Union (NY) 33-14. Johns Hopkins also took down Ithaca 42-14. Other notable wins in Week 1 that ultimately affected the rankings this week include Mary-Hardin Baylor topping Bethel (TN) 30-23 and Carnegie Mellon taking the shutout victory over UChicago, 20-0. 

Looking ahead to the Week 2 matchups starting Sept. 13, Texas Lutheran vs. Howard Payne will be a matchup to watch. Howard Payne heads to Bulldog Stadium in Seguin, Texas after a victory over Pacific University 21-13. Texas Lutheran will look to bounce back after a Week 1 loss to Trinity University, 26-14.
