After an eventful Week 0, the FloSports office is buzzing with excitement as Week 1 is set to kickoff action on Sept. 4. 

The majority of the NCAA DI and DII teams will head into their second week of games, but for the NCAA DIII teams, they will get their first taste of 2025 football action. With notable matchups like D1 Rhode Island vs. Stony Brook, D2 Catawba vs. Emory & Henry and D3 TCNJ vs. Lycoming, Week 1 is sure to be just as exciting as Week 0.

On the D1 side of things, the CAA opens conference play as the Rams take on the Seawolves. The Rams are hoping to continue the momentum from a Week 0 31-20 victory over Campbell, while the Seawolves are looking to bounce back as a Week 0 loss to San Diego State 42-0. 

In D2, Catawba and Emory & Henry both head into the matchup with 1-0 records on the season. Catawba faced off against Ferrum in Week 0 and came away with a 45-13 victory. Emory & Henry faced off against Glenville State and walked away with a 45-17 victory. 

Last but certainly not least, D3 sees TCNJ take on Lycoming in the first week of D3 action. All eyes will be on Lycoming after the announcement of 58-year-old Tom Cillo joining the program as a defensive linemen.
