The Rhode Island Rams are set to face off against the Stony Brook Seawolves this weekend for the Seawolves' first conference game of the 2025 season and the Rams' second following a season-opener win.

The Rams started off their 2025 campaign with a 31-20 victory over CAA opponent Campbell to extend its home winning streak to 10 games and recently moved into the No. 8 spot in the AFCA Coaches Poll. Starting quarterback Devin Farrell threw for 275 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions and connected with right-hand wide receiver Marquis Buchanan for 167 yards and a touchdown.
On the other hand, Stony Brook did not have the best beginning to the season, failing to score against San Diego State in a devastating 42-0 loss in California. Even with the help of two different quarterbacks, the Stony Brook offense combined for 46 passing yards and 49 rushing yards.
The Seawolves will need to quickly reconvene if they hope to see points against the Rams, who look primed to take the conference title once again this year.
