West Florida gets their first win of the season as they defeat Lenoir-Rhyne 48-21 in a Top 25 matchup.

The Argos dropped 31 points in the first half, and added another 17 in the second half to secure the win. 

Marcus Stokes was superb as the starting quarterback for the Argos. Stokes went 20-29 (69%) for 353 yards and four passing touchdowns. Stokes also ran for 26 yards and two rushing touchdowns. 

Argos wide receiver was the primary recipient, hauling in 9 receptions for 172 yards and 1 touchdown. 

LR looked vastly better in the second half, and were able to muster 21 points overall, but mistakes, fumbles, and missed chances sealed their fate.

Despite a second-half comeback hope, in the end, West Florida dominated their game against Lenoir-Rhyne. 

Marcus Stokes and Corey Scott had massive games. Stokes went 20-29, with 353 passing yards, four passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns. 

Scott had 9 catches and 172 yards and a touchdown.
