Ferris State gets their revenge.

The Bulldogs opened the 2025 season with a convincing 34-17 win over Pittsburg State—the only team to beat them last year—and stretched their win streak to 15 straight games in the process.

Redshirt freshman Wyatt Bower got the start at QB and didn’t blink.

He ran in two touchdowns and threw for another, totaling 112 passing yards in his debut.

The Bulldogs leaned into the ground game and controlled the clock, while the defense came up with clutch stops down the stretch—including a fourth-quarter pick by Jalen Jones that shut the door.

Pitt State had its moments—Jackson Berry hit Kuron Parchmon for a big TD late in the first half—but couldn’t find rhythm after the break.
