D2 football has had several changes this offseason. Three schools left D2 in the 2024-25 offseason, as New Haven moved to D1 FCS, Mississippi College dropped their football program, and Limestone closed as a school entirely. But the Jamestown Jimmies also joined D2 after they moved up from NAIA.
