In 2025, Bentley Football has been picked to win the NE10, and while that may seem like a reasonable feat for the reigning runner-ups, they're going to have a completely new look this season. Not only did they lose several starters, but they also have a new head coach, CJ Scarpa.

Despite the large turnover, the Falcons have instilled confidence in the other NE10 coaches, who voted them as the favorite. Scarpa, a former Bentley Falcon quarterback, will need to use all of his expertise to keep the Falcons a winning program.

Going into his senior season, quarterback Billy Osborn has waited his turn and is ready to show the NE10 his skills, and he has several top receivers returning. After a 1,000-yard season, Rashon Bradford is returning for his fifth year at wide receiver, looking to top his 13-touchdown performance. He also earned NE10 MVP honors for his performance.

Jonathan Oriakhi is the next top receiver, and he had a 344-yard season and one touchdown in 2024. On the ground, Joshua Compoh is the top returning rusher and is set to have a breakout season in his senior year. In just six games in 2024, he ran for 130 yards and one touchdown, showing his potential to be an impactful rusher in 2025.

On defense, Henry Schouten is set to have another big season after a 103-tackle, 13.5-tackle-for-loss, and 5.5 sack junior outing in 2024. At linebacker, Schouten is one of the few returning defensive starters and will be a key piece of the 2025 Falcons’ defense.

With high expectations, Bentley will have a lot of work to do after losing a majority of its starters to graduation, but the program garners excitement and attention with new head coach Scarpa.

Here’s everything to know about Bentley Football ahead of the 2025 season.
