Springfield Football 2025 Schedule

Springfield Football has high expectations heading into 2025 as it looks to get a fifth consecutive NEWMAC title.

Springfield Pride head coach Mike Cerasuolo outdid himself once again in 2024 by taking the Pride to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III National Championships, an undefeated regular season schedule, and the team's fourth consecutive NEWMAC title.

The Pride has been a consistent NEWMAC leader through the past decade under Cerasuolo, and hopes to remain that way in 2025 despite uncertainty surrounding the departure of some of its key playmakers from last season.

Starting quarterback Jacob Silvester could potentially return for a fifth year, but it also might be unlikely as sophomore and backup Drew Heenan saw action last year and would be the next best option.

The more important question will be if the Pride can reevaluate with the loss of top running back Arsen Shtefan and possibly Blane Hart. Shtefan ran for nearly 2,000 yards and over 20 touchdowns in 2024 as a graduate student, while Hart contributed 830 yards and 17 touchdowns as a senior.

Fans can expect the competition to be similar to last season, and Cerasuolo could very well guide the Pride to another NEWMAC. title.
