Since the inception of the Landmark Conference, the Susquehanna River Hawks have been the team to beat, winning 12 consecutive conference games over two seasons and back-to-back Landmark titles.

In 2024, the River Hawks did something they hadn’t done since 1991, which is advance to the national semifinals.

Though their season ended there against eventual NCAA Division III national champion North Central in a lopsided 66-0 contest, that just means there’s room for improvement for Susquehanna in 2025.

The River Hawks’ quest for a third straight Landmark title and fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III Football Championship will begin at home at Amos Alonzo Stagg Field at Doug Arthur Stadium in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 6.

Susquehanna will welcome Union College to town to kick off the new campaign, which will begin with three home games, and four nonconference contests overall, before finishing the season with six Landmark games.

The River Hawks will play six of their 10 regular-season games at home.

In 2024, Susquehanna was 12-2 overall and 6-0 in conference play and ended the year ranked in the top 5 of multiple major polls.

The year prior, the debut season for the Landmark Conference, the River Hawks were 10-1 overall and 6-0 in Landmark games. Their 2023 season ended in the first round of the Division III Playoffs.

The team once again will be led by Tom Perkovich, who is entering his 11th season at the helm.
