The Towson Tigers completed its most successful season in six years in 2024, and now hope to have another historical run in 2025. The Tigers finished at 7-5 overall and 5-2 in conference play, their best finish since 2019, led by quarterback Sean Brown.

Brown threw for almost 2,000 yards and recorded 12 touchdowns through 10 games played, and will return to the Tigers to continue building upon the starting career he began in 2023. He'll be joined by wide receiver John Dunmore, who amassed over 600 receiving yards and claimed five touchdowns for Towson.

Unfortunately the Tigers will be without their pride and joy, tight end Carson Runyon. Headed to the Las Vegas Raiders in the fall as an undrafted free agent, Runyon caught 45 receptions for 502 yards and five touchdowns. 

Head coach and Maryland native Pete Shinnick heads into his third season at Towson. His resume for the Tigers made a jump from his first year in 2023 to 2024, starting out by defeating the two conference preseason favorites, William & Mary and New Hampshire, on the road and ending with the team's first seven-win season in five years.
